Registered cybercrimes:

3,099 in 2017,

4,741 (53% up) in 2018.

The year 2018 distribution among the oblasts and Minsk:

Brest Oblast – 728,

Vitebsk Oblast – 455,

Gomel Oblast – 563,

Grodno Oblast – 300,

Minsk Oblast – 761,

Mogilev Oblast – 392,

Minsk – 1,542.

Prevailing cybercrimes:

theft using computer equipment – 3,585,

unauthorized access to computer data – 912,

computer sabotage – 166,

unlawful acquisition of computer data – 26,

malware development – 42,

other crimes – 10.

As many as 1,139 people faced criminal charges, including:

369 with previous convictions,

849 unemployed and non-students,

35 underage.
