NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
Since the launch of the construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant (2013), 119,000 tonnes of reinforcement bars have been installed (75% of the total), 755,000 m3 of concrete has been poured (64%)*.
Unit 1
The internal protective shell of the reactor has reached the 66.7 meter mark while the external one is at the 44.6 meter mark
Unit 2
The internal protective shell of the reactor has reached the 34.2 meter mark while the external one is at the 35.7 meter mark.
Construction and installation operations are in progress at 119 (out of 131) objects and structures of the plant. A total of RUB38.6 billion has been utilized. Belarusian organizations perform more than 76% of the work.
Contracts have already been signed to manufacture all the basic power-generating equipment and 71% of auxiliary/supporting equipment for the BelNPP.
