02.11.2016 | 15:57

As of 1 November 2016 road toll is collected for travelling along two more sections of Belarusian motorways:

M5/E271 Minsk-Gomel motorway (from the 130km mark to the 212km mark);

P23 Minsk-Mikashevichi motorway (from the 80km mark to the 99km mark).

The length of toll roads in Belarus has increased by 101km and now stands at 1,613.6km.

All vehicles travelling along the toll roads are required to pay road toll except for cars, which are registered in countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and have the gross vehicle mass of at most 3.5 tonnes.

As of 1 October 2016 there were more than 247,000 vehicles registered in the Belarusian road toll collection system BelToll, including nearly 140,000 foreign vehicles.
