Russia is Belarus' main trading partner.

In 2020, Belarus-Russia merchandise trade soared almost 4.5 times over 1996*.

In 2020 the merchandise trade totaled $29.7 billion.

In 2020, Russia accounted for 41.5% of Belarus' total merchandise export, or $13.2 billion.

Russia accounted for 50.4% of Belarus' total merchandise import, or $16.5 billion.

In 2020 Belarus' major exports:

milk and dairy products - $2,020 million

trucks - $342.6 million

meat and meat by-products - $531.3 million

tractors and truck tractors - $317.6 million

Belarus' major imports:

crude oil, including gas condensate - $3,441 million

natural gas - $2,453.3 million

ferrous metals and related products - $1,176.1 million

cars - $566 million
