Belarus remains Russia's leading trade partner in the CIS. In turn, Russia traditionally remains Belarus' main trade partner.
In 2017 Belarus-Russia merchandise trade totaled $32.5 billion.
Russia accounted for 44.1% in Belarus' total merchandise export or $12.9 billion.
Russia accounted for 57.2% in Belarus' total merchandise import or $19.6 billion.
milk and dairy products -- $1,937 million;
meat and meat by-products -- $694 million;
trucks - $740 million;
cars and vehicles designed to transport ten and more people -- $93 million;
tractors and truck tractors -- $311 million.
crude oil -- $5,317 million;
natural gas -- $2,962 million;
ferrous metals and goods made thereof -- $1,834 million;
cars -- $558 million;
oil products -- $1,082 million.
In January-April 2018 the volume of Belarus-Russia export and import operations rose by 8.8-25%.
