NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
In 2016, Belarus' gold and foreign exchange reserves rose by $751.4 million if calculated in accordance with methods of the International Monetary Fund. As of 1 January 2017, they totaled $4,927.2 million.

The Belarusian government and the National Bank of Belarus honored the domestic and foreign commitments in foreign currency in full.
Belarus plans to increase its gold and foreign exchange reserves by at least $500 million to a total of $5.4 billion.
