Belarus elects new Parliament

The Central Election Commission announced preliminary results of the elections to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the sixth convocation.

110 members were elected to the new Parliament; of them 28 are current MPs.

Gender :

Women - 38 (34.5%)

Men - 72 (65.5%)

Party Affiliation:

Party members - 16 (14.5%)

Nonpartisan - 94 (85.5%)

Voter turnout in the elections to the House of Representatives was 74.8%

Final results of the 2016 Belarus parliamentary elections will be announced by the week's end.
