VETKA, 18 June (BelTA) - The Vetka Museum of Old Believer Faith and Belarusian Traditions named after Fyodor Shklyarov was set up in 1975. The exhibition was based on the personal collection of Fyodor Shklyarov, a native of Vetka hailing from the Old Believer family, an amateur artist and a collector of local antiquity.
The permanent exhibition was opened in 1987 in the historical mansion - the house of merchant Groshikov.
Currently, the museum has more than 13,000 exhibits.
