People from all the Belarusian regions have come to the Belarusian capital to take part in a rally in Nezavisimosti Square in Minsk to support peace, security and stability in Belarus on 16 August.
“Who values all the things that we have created for the time of our independence! Who is against the collapse of the country! Everyone who loves our Belarus! All are invited to a rally,” the organizers of the meeting said on Saturday.
Attending the rally were representatives of various labor collectives and organizations. The meeting featured flags of the Emergencies Ministry, the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, the Dinamo sports society, the Communist Party of Belarus. People shouted: “Belarus!”
The rally was also attended by high officials of the country, including Chairwoman of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova and Head of Belarus President Administration Igor Sergeyenko.
