MINSK, 26 July (BelTA) – An event to observer the Navy Day, which Belarusian sailors traditionally mark on the last Sunday of July, was held near the Minsk Hero City Stele. The event was organized by the Belarusian Union of Military Sailors. The event was attended by senior and junior officers, midshipmen, warrant officers, sailors in reserve and retired sailors and also their family members. The participants the event laid flowers at the monument to fallen soldiers, took part in a solemn rally and observed a minute of silence for fallen military sailors.
