The international medieval festival Minsk Starazhytny kicked off on 8 September as part of the Minsk City Day celebrations. The festival in the Belarusian capital gathered representatives of the reenactment clubs from Belarus and abroad. The program featured knight, cavalry and archery tournaments, exhibition shows. The festival reenacted the atmosphere of the previous epochs: from the Ancient Rome and the Vikings to World War Two.
