Lake Dolgoye in Braslav District

MINSK, 8 July (BelTA) - Lake Dolgoye is located in Braslav District, Vitebsk Oblast, 24km southwest of the town of Braslav. The lake has very rugged shores, a lot of half-islands and narrow, shallow heavily overgrown bays. There are also four islands with a total area of more than 13 hectares.

Lake Dolgoye is a popular destination for recreation, fishing and tourism. It is part of the Braslav Lakes National Park. The lake is inhabited by pike, bream, eel, pike perch, silver bream, tench, European perch, roach and other fish.
