Alexandria, 8 July (BelTA) – Kupala Night Festival (Alexandria Gathers Friends) took place in the town of Alexandria, Shklov District on 6-7 July. The festival is held on the bank of the Dnieper River, near the bridge that unites two settlements, Alexandria and Kopys, and also two Belarusian regions, Mogilev Oblast and Vitebsk Oblast. This year the festival was built around the native land theme.
The Kupala Night Festival culminated with a gala concert dubbed as Made in Belarus on the main concert venue.
The event wrapped up with bonfire on the left bank of the Dnieper and a colorful display of fireworks over Alexandria.
