
Krevo Castle, one of the first in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, dates back to the early 14th century. It has witnessed many key events in Belarusian history. It was the first stone castle in the Belarusian lands. The walls were 2.5 meters thick, and 12-13 meters high. Today this gem of the national architecture in the agro-town of Krevo is being restored and conserved.
