The 31st edition of the International Festival of Modern Choreography (IFMC) kicked off in Vitebsk on 21 November. After the solemn opening ceremony, the audience saw a festival version of the wordless performance Caligula by Sergei Bezrukov's Moscow Gubernsky Theater. The festival was founded by the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee, the Culture Ministry, Vitebsk City Hall, the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of Belarus. The organizer is the Vitebsk Cultural Center.
