NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
GOMEL, 9 May (BelTA) – Gomel residents have joined the nationwide campaign Belarus Remembers! On Victory Day they carried portraits with photos of their parents, grandfathers and grandmothers, great grandfathers and grandmothers, who took part in the Great Patriotic War. The column started walking from Vosstaniya Square at 10:00 and went towards Lenina Square. The column gathered veterans, representatives of enterprises and organizations of the oblast capital as well as creative young Belarusians. A solemn rally and a ceremony to lay wreaths and flowers took place in Truda Square after that.
