Bagration Operation reenactment at Stalin's Line

Bagration Operation reenactment at Stalin's Line

MINSK, 4 July (BelTA) - On 4 July, the 14th edition of the Bagration Festival dedicated to Belarus' Independence Day was held at the Stalin's Line historical and cultural complex, with the support of the Defense Ministry.

The large-scale military-historical reenactment featured the events of the Great Patriotic War, which took place on 28 June 1944 during the Belarusian offensive operation. During this large-scale offensive, the Red Army liberated the BSSR and almost completely destroyed the German army group Center leaving Germany unable to make up for the losses.

The festival also offered an entertainment program and several interactive zones.

Musicians of the 120th Independent Guards Mechanized Brigade performed songs of the war years.
