Vice premiers of Belarus, Russia to meet in Moscow on 14 June

MINSK, 14 June (BelTA) – Belarus' Deputy Prime Minister Igor Lyashenko will meet with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Kozak on 14 June to discuss oil-related matters, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.

“Deputy Prime Minister Igor Lyashenko has left for Moscow where he will hold talks with Russian Vice Premier Dmitry Kozak,” the press service informed.

BelTA reported earlier that on 19 April Belneftekhim registered a massive decrease in the quality of the Russian oil mixture Urals flowing in transit into the Druzhba oil pipeline. The concentration of organic chloride in oil exceeded standard thresholds dozens of times over. Both Belarusian oil refineries: Mozyr Oil Refinery and OAO Naftan were forced to reduce their workload and experienced financial losses. In line with the agreements reached by the deputy premiers of Belarus and Russia, work is underway on compensation proposals.
