MOSCOW, 13 November (BelTA) - The budget of the Union State in 2019 will amount to RUB6.7 billion, State Secretary of the Belarus-Russia Union State Grigory Rapota said at the expert and media forum “Young scientists a priority of the Union State” in Moscow on 13 November,” BelTA has learned.
“The budget of the Union State in 2019 will make up about RUB6.7 billion, thanks to the contributions [of the states parties of the Union State] and the unused funds left over from previous years. We have drastically reduced the amount of unused funds left over from previous years. If we adopt three new programs, which are currently in the final stage of preparation, we will utilize the remaining amounts next year, and the budget will be balanced,” Grigory Rapota said.
Grigory Rapota noted that extending the list of the Union State programs will be possible only if there are any additional resources. “These may be either budgetary or extra-budgetary. This issue is under discussion,” Grigory Rapota noted.
