Three Belarusian food companies removed from Russian watchdog blacklist

MINSK, 16 August (BelTA) – On 16 August, the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) lifted the restrictions on the import of products by three Belarusian companies, BelTA has learned from the Rosselkhoznadzor website.

These are beef and beef products by Borisov Meat Processing Plant No. 1, dairy products of Molodechno Dairy Plant, and some products of OOO Akdimol.

Eligible for the import to Russia are products made as from 16 August. The imported products should be accompanied by digital veterinary certificates.

Rosselkhoznadzor made the decision after perusing materials sent by the Belarusian side, taking into account the measures taken to address the violations and in view of the guarantees issued by the Veterinary and Food Oversight Department of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.
