NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
GOMEL, 14 May (BelTA) – The 21st edition of the Spring in Gomel international expo will be held online from 25 May till 10 June, BelTA learned from the Gomel branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).
This year the Spring in Gomel expo will be relocated to the website ccigomel.by. The essence and goals of the expo will remain the same: to showcase the economic potential of one of Belarus' biggest regions and present proposals of foreign partners.
The online version of the expo is centered around three major themes: Business Spring will include webinars, presentations of products and services, B2B meetings online. Tasty Spring will feature restaurants, cafes, bars and retail trade. Gomel Spring will highlight artisans' products and offer master classes.
Over 20 years since it was established, the Spring in Gomel expo has become a calling card of Gomel Oblast, one of the region's biggest events. It brings together municipal and regional authorities, central government members, heads of diplomatic missions and chambers of commerce and industry and representatives of the business community. In 2019 the expo featured 300 Belarusian and foreign companies that presented their products and services on the area of more than 5,000 m2. Foreign delegations from 32 countries visited the expo.
The expo is traditionally arranged by the Gomel branch of the BCCI under the auspices of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee and the Gomel City Executive Committee.
