ST PETERSBURG, 18 July (BelTA) – Contracts worth at least $550 million will be signed as a result of the 6th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, BelTA learned from Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich on 18 July.
The senator said: “At least $550 million worth of commercial contracts will be signed. It is truly a serious contribution.”
Apart from that, 84 agreements on cooperation, including cooperation in humanitarian affairs, have been signed during the forum.
Mikhail Myasnikovich stressed the Belarusian side is pleased with the results. “We have gained rather a lot indeed,” the head of the upper chamber of the Belarusian parliament said.
