Scholars from seven countries to discuss global economic trends at conference in Minsk

MINSK, 11 December (BelTA) - More than 100 scholars from seven countries will participate in the international conference “Belarus 2030: State, Business, Science, Education” in the Belarusian State University on 14 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the university.

Attending the event will be scholars, researchers and economists from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, China, Lebanon and the Netherlands. The forum will review the current major processes and trends in the world and national economies.

The conference will run four sections: Information technologies in economy; Economic theory. Institutional economics; Analytical economics and forecasting; Business economics, management, marketing, logistics. Particular attention will be paid to the use of artificial intelligence in business management and digital innovations. The forum will also deal with such topics as the digital economy in the Belarusian healthcare, trends in the labor market in the context of digitalisation, etc. Participants will analyze the trends in Belarus' foreign trade, consider the prospects for blockchain technology and crypto assets and their integration into the national financial market, and will also touch upon the development of agro-tourism.
