MINSK, 18 September (BelTA) – Russia's Krasnodar Territory is interested in cooperation with Belarus in industry, construction and agro-industrial complex, Krasnodar Territory Vice Governor Aleksandr Ruppel said at a meeting of the working group on cooperation between Belarus and this Russian region, BelTA has learned.

“We set our cooperation with Belarus as an example to all foreign countries that come to meet with us. We conclude many agreements on social and economic interaction, but with Belarus we have not just such an agreement - we have a specific roadmap. There is no other agreement with such depth of elaboration and involvement. We regularly discuss all the rough edges and find solutions very quickly,” Aleksandr Ruppel said. “We are moving forward: today a number of new agreements are to be signed, including those with Gomselmash. I am sure that this will be another impetus for the development of cooperation. As for the construction sector, we have agreed that the Belarusian company will design a school for 400 children.”

The development of cooperation in the agro-industrial complex is also relevant. “We will pay more attention to seed production, fodder base,” the vice governor added.

“Over the past few years we have done a lot to develop our cooperation, and the figures speak for themselves. In 2022 and in the current period of 2023 there has been an increase in trade. I am confident that in the second half of the year there will also be a significant growth. Such dynamics comes also thanks to the fact that we have signed a roadmap of cooperation with specific measures,” Aleksandr Ruppel said.
