On 6 December Belarus Deputy Architecture and Construction Minister Dmitry Semenkevich met with First Vice Governor of Kaluga Oblast Dmitry Denisov. “We are actively working on the development of rural settlements. One of the ideas is the construction of so-called agro-towns. We know that similar projects have already been implemented in Belarus. Dmitry Denisov expressed his interest in visiting such sites. “We would like to see healthcare facilities because in the next three years we are planning to implement one major project in this field and your experience will be very useful for us,” he said. Dmitry Semenkevich noted that one of the most successful projects in this field is the clinical medical center near the village of Zhdanovichi, the construction of which is nearing completion.
