MINSK, 4 April (BelTA) – Kaluga entrepreneurs are interested in expanding cooperation with Belarusian enterprises, Violetta Komissarova, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kaluga Oblast, said at a joint business meeting on 4 April, BelTA has learned.
“It is the first time that so many entrepreneurs from across the entire spectrum of economic sectors have gathered at one place. Indeed, the interest is huge,” Violetta Komissarova emphasized.
Each enterprise formulated its offer, said the head of the chamber. “Someone offers technologies to improve labor productivity or product quality. Others came to purchase building materials, agricultural machinery and utility equipment. Each company developed a partnership portfolio where it specified what it expects from the visit and what kind of suppliers it is looking for. Our Belarusian colleagues processed these requests in order to bring to the business match making session those companies that are ready to discuss specific projects,” Violetta Komissarova concluded.
About 55 Belarusian companies and 17 companies from Kaluga Oblast signed up to take part in the bilateral negotiations. At the business meeting, companies from Belarus and Kaluga Oblast are exploring the possibilities to cooperate in the production of heat pumps, electrical products, plastic products, construction equipment and materials, furniture for home and office, in supply and maintenance of road machinery and other fields.
