Russian food quality watchdog lifts import restrictions from Grodno Meat-Packing Plant

MINSK, 14 June (BelTA) – The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of Russia (Rosselkhoznadzor) has lifted temporary import restrictions from OAO Grodno Meat-Packing Plant products, BelTA has learned.

According to the Rosselkhoznadzor website, import restrictions will be lifted from OAO Grodno Meat-Packing Plant products on 15 June. A number of products, which cannot be imported to Russia due to existing restrictions relating to African swine fever, are an exception.

The foods will have to be made on 15 June and later and will have to be bundled with a digital veterinary certificate.
