Russia to increase supplies of oil products to Belarus by 10% in 2019

MOGILEV, 12 October (BelTA) – Russia will increase the supplies of oil products for the Belarusian petrochemical industry by 10% in 2019, Belarus' Deputy Prime Minister Igor Lyashenko told the media on 12 October, BelTA has learned.

According to the vice premier, “the supplies of oil products will be increased by 10% as against 2017.” This is enough for Belarus to have its oil refineries operate at full capacity and to ensure the adequate output to maintain the required GDP growth rate.

Following the talks in Moscow Igor Lyashenko and Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak signed a protocol to amend the intergovernmental agreement of 2007 on measures to regulate trade and economic cooperation in the export of oil and petroleum products and agreed on the indicative balances and protocols on petroleum products for November-December 2018 and the year 2019.
