MINSK, 3 February (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko revealed details of Belarus-Russia negotiations on oil and gas deliveries as he met with representatives of the general public, Belarusian and foreign mass media on 3 February, BelTA has learned.

The head of state noted that the Russian side does not always properly welcome Belarusian delegations. According to Alexander Lukashenko, Belarusian delegations sometimes face contemptuous attitudes. “Our ministers arrive and get cold shoulder treatment. The attitude is simply contemptuous,” said the head of state.

“One time even some top government officials went to Russia and had to stay in the reception room from morning till evening,” added Alexander Lukashenko. The head of state stressed he had no intention of accepting the situation calmly and had informed his Russian counterpart about it.
