Retirement pensions in Belarus up by 5.4% on average as from 1 May

MINSK, 26 April (BelTA) – As from 1 May retirement pensions will be raised by 5.4% on the average as a result of recalculation. The measure is laid down by decree No.142 Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko signed on 26 April, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.

The document provides for recalculating retirement pensions as from 1 May 2018 due to the rising average salary in Belarus by correcting the actual earnings of pensioners bearing in mind the average salary used during the previous recalculation of pensions.
