MINSK, 18 April (BelTA) – In January-March 2022 retail trade turnover totaled Br15.6 billion, 106.5% as against the same period of last year in comparable prices, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee.
Wholesale trade turnover amounted to Br34.5 billion, 98.6% as against January-March 2021.
Daily retail trade turnover per capita totaled Br18.6, up from Br15.7 in January-March 2021.
Retail organizations accounted for 93.1% of Belarus' retail trade turnover. Their retail trade turnover totaled Br14.5 billion in January-March 2022, 107.5% as against January-March 2021.
In January-March 2022 the turnover of the public catering industry totaled Br882 million, 105.8% as against January-March 2021 in comparable prices.
