MINSK, 24 September (BelTA) – In January-August 2020, Belarusian Railways transported almost 100,000 tonnes of goods to Azerbaijan, 7.4% up year-on-year, BelTA learned from the press service of Belarusian Railways.
Belarus' main export item to Azerbaijan was timber. Other exports included construction materials, oil and oil products, chemicals, industrial raw materials, molding materials, and food products.
Belarusian Railways is keen to cooperate with Belarusian economic entities and increase shipments of Belarusian products to foreign markets by rail, the press center noted.
