MINSK, 14 May (BelTA) - The country's economy has been restructured, with everything necessary being done to weather the sanctions, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said in an interview to STV channel, BelTA has learned.
“The president said to forget about the sanctions. They exist, but they can no longer be an explanation for the current difficulties. We have done everything that was necessary. We have restructured everything we needed. We have redesigned logistics, payments and flows. As we promised, in April we actually reached the level we had last year. We will continue to improve every month,” Roman Golovchenko said.
“We are no longer experiencing any shocks. There used to be a lot of unclear things but now, I think, we have turned the page on it,” the prime minister said.
