MINSK, 25 May (BelTA) – Plans have been made to establish the special economic zone Bremino-Orsha by the end of summer, BelTA learned from Director of OOO Bremino Group Vasily Dementei on 25 May.
The executive said: “A presidential decree has been drafted to set up the special economic zone Bremino-Orsha. It is now being reviewed by the Council of Ministers. The preferences our zone will get are being discussed now. I think the decision will be made by the end of summer.”
Vasily Dementei specified that it will be the second special economic zone in Belarus. The first one was established in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone.
According to the Bremino Group director, the special economic zone Bremino-Orsha will focus on cooperation with India. “While the Great Stone industrial park focuses on China, we will focus on India. We look forward to the visit of a group of businessmen from India in early June. We are going to discuss joint projects,” he explained.
