Plans to set up satellite communication R&D center in China-Belarus industrial park

MINSK, 6 November (BelTA) – Two new resident companies have been registered at the Great Stone Industrial Park during the 2nd China International Import Expo (CIIE) that kicked off in Shanghai on 5 November, BelTA learned from the park.

“The newcomers to the Great Stone Park are the Eurasia Satellite Communications (China) that plans to set up a R&D center to develop satellite communication and control systems and also Flex-N-Roll Pro (Belarus, the United States) which is mulling over a project in commercial printing,” the park said.

During the CIIE the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Yinchuan Economic and Technological Development Zone, China and showcased its investment opportunities at the Belarusian-Chinese Business Forum.

The China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone is a territorial unit as large as 112.5km2. It is a special economic zone offering a special legal regime to ensure comfortable business conditions. The park is now home to 57 companies.
