Plans to sell large batches of Belarusian buses, electric buses to Kyrgyzstan

MOSCOW, 2 December (BelTA) – Belarus is working on contracts on shipping large batches of buses and electric buses to Kyrgyzstan. Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Igor Petrishenko made the statement on the sidelines of the Second Eurasian Congress organized by the Eurasian Development Bank in Moscow on 2 December, BelTA has learned.

The official said: “We actively advance cooperation with Kyrgyzstan. We are now working on selling our vehicles – over 1,000 buses. They see that our products last for a long time and are competitive. We hope that cooperation will not be limited to simple deliveries but we will develop infrastructure, too.” He mentioned aftersales service and supplies of spare parts.

The development of the transportation system in Bishkek thanks to Belarusian electric buses was also mentioned. In addition to selling electric buses the Belarusian side is eager to develop the electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
