Plans to open Belarusian trading house in Russia's Kursk Oblast

MINSK, 27 July (BelTA) – Belarusian producers of agricultural equipment held a video conference with representatives of the authorities and business of Russia's Kursk Oblast, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Communications and Informatization Ministry.

“The participants of the event suggested considering the possibility of opening the Belarusian trading house, which will enable the parties to develop trade in the region,” the press service said.

According to the representatives of Kursk companies, Belarusian special-purpose equipment is on par with foreign analogues and even better in some technical specifications, while being much cheaper than foreign products.

The Belarusian participants of the meeting expressed hope that the delegation of Kursk Oblast would attend the 7th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, which is due to take place in Minsk in September. The parties plan to sign an updated agreement during the forum. The previous agreement between Kursk Oblast and Belarus was signed in 2002.
