
MINSK, 30 March (BelTA) – The Industry Ministry of Belarus pays close attention to workforce quality, Industry Minister Aleksandr Rogozhnik said, BelTA learned from the press service of the Industry Ministry.
Aleksandr Rogozhnik approved the appointment of 13 officials and top managers. Among the appointees were heads of large industrial enterprises and organizations. For example, Leonid Ivanko was appointed as Electronmash director, Eduard Shall was named Lidagroprommash director, and Pavel Galmak will have a new role as director of Brest Electromechanical Plant.
“Our personnel policy should be calibrated to the realities of today. In this regard, the Industry Ministry pays close attention to improving the quality of workforce. Highly qualified and motivated personnel are a key factor in the development of Belarusian industrial enterprises and, in general, in securing technological independence and competitiveness of our country,” said Aleksandr Rogozhnik.
Reviewing the overall situation in the manufacturing industry, the industry minister noted that industrial enterprises managed to respond adequately to external challenges and quickly adapted to the new environment, boosted their resilience and posted growth.
“This year, the primary task for top management is to maintain sustainable growth and competitiveness, to solve a wide range of tasks related to the country's technological security,” Aleksandr Rogozhnik said addressing the appointees.
