MINSK, 23 November (BelTA) – More than 2,500 organizations in Belarus are involved in the production of import-substituting goods, Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Parkhomchik said at a joint meeting of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic, BelTA has learned.
“At present, more than 2,500 organizations of various forms of ownership, including more than 600 small and medium-sized businesses, are involved in the production of import-substituting goods,” said Piotr Parkhomchik.
According to him, more than 200 import-substituting projects worth over $10 billion are currently running in various industries.
