Over 200 Hi-Tech Park companies cater to Belarusian enterprises

MINSK, 24 February (BelTA) – Over 200 companies residing in the Hi-Tech Park work in the interests of Belarusian enterprises. Director of the Hi-Tech Park Administration Vsevolod Yanchevsky made the statement during a roundtable session held to discuss the digitalization of the national economy, BelTA has learned.

According to the source, the volume of work done by Hi-Tech Park companies for the benefit of Belarusian enterprises has nearly tripled in the last two years. The Hi-Tech Park offers a broad range of digital products to Belarusian enterprises. The products are required to bolster their competitive ability and profitability of the manufacturing sector. The products rely on technologies like artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and cloud computing for integrating entire industries. “It is important to discuss the digitalization of the manufacturing sector not only for the sake of the future but for the sake of the present of our country already,” Vsevolod Yanchevsky said.

Industry Minister Pavel Utyupin and heads of Hi-Tech Park resident companies took part in the discussion. In particular, Pavel Utyupin noted that cooperation with the Hi-Tech Park is an important direction in the work of the Industry Ministry. “We have to follow the global trends in manufacturing the vehicles, equipment, and machines that we sell. This is why the enterprises put vigorous efforts into digitalization,” he said.

During the meeting representatives of Hi-Tech Park companies demonstrated their products that are successfully used in the Belarusian manufacturing sector. Feeling Digital Company used virtual reality technologies to demonstrate stages of the assembly process of a 450-tonne BelAZ haul truck and offered a digital tour of an open pit. Founders of the VibroBox project talked about advantages of smart vibrodiagnostics of the technical state of equipment. High-tech solutions capable of greatly simplifying the work of Belarusian industrial enterprises in the future were also presented.
