MINSK, 5 April (BelTA) - European business is shocked by the sanctions no less than the Belarusian one, Acting General Director of the Belarusian wood processing company Mostovdrev Andrei Makovets said in an interview to the STV Channel, BelTA has learned.
“Business is like a stream, it will partially find its way to the West and the Middle East, as well as China and Vietnam. It is not as fast as we would like it to be. Only sanctions are fast. Our partners in Europe are simply shocked by this. They have built enterprises and set up entire sectors for our products,” Andrei Makovets said.
“Believe me, their business is even more shocked than ours. Let's be patient and wait for a while,” the acting director general said.
