Minister: Iranian delegation's visit to Belarus will lay foundation for further cooperation

MINSK, 23 February (BelTA) - The visit of the Iranian delegation to Belarus will lay the foundation for further development of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation, Belarusian Industry Minister Aleksandr Rogozhnik said as he met with Seyyed Mohammad Mousavi, Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran, BelTA learned from the press service of the Industry Ministry of Belarus.

The talks were also attended by representatives of BelAZ, MTZ, MAZ and also Iranian businessmen.

The parties exchanged information on current bilateral contacts and took stock of the progress made in the implementation of the previously reached agreements.

The program of the visit includes visits to the country's major industrial enterprises. In this context, the Belarusian industry minister suggested that the Iranian side should draw up a package of proposals to update the bilateral agenda.

Seyyed Mohammad Mousavi praised the results of cooperation between the two countries last year and said it was necessary to use all the potential to build up interaction.
