MINSK, 31 December (BelTA) - The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) of Belarus to keep regulating prices for socially important goods. The measure is stipulated in the ministry's Decree No. 83 of 28 December 2020, the ministry told BelTA.
The MART resolution introduces in Q1 2021 price regulation for socially important goods for 90 days by setting limits of the maximum marginal rate of profitability for producers in the amount of the actual level of profitability of sold products in January-November 2020 (fruit and vegetable products - in 2019) or no more than 10%, and the marginal maximum trade increments (taking into account the wholesale increment) for the wholesale and retail trade.
Approaches to the regulation of importers' selling prices have been tightened and maximum trade increments have been established.
The decree comes into force after its official publication.
