MINSK, 12 November (BelTA) – Belarusian manufacturers are taking part in one of the world's largest agricultural machinery fairs Agritechnica 2019, which is scheduled to take place in Hannover, Germany on 10-16 November, representatives of the Belarusian embassy in Germany told BelTA.
About 2,800 exhibitors from 51 countries are demonstrating their technological achievements as part of the fair. The fair's theme is Global Farming – Local Responsibility. Belarus is represented by three stands of domestic mechanical engineering companies – MTZ, Gomselmash, and Amkodor – featuring upgraded off-the-shelf vehicles and cutting-edge products.
In particular, MTZ presented a new tractor Belarus-742, which meets European Stage V environmental standards. The model is expected to become the core of a future family of tractors with the engine output of 50-75hp in line with modern tractor engineering trends.
MTZ's compact batch-produced tractor Belarus-622 is designed to cater to ski tracks. The model can also be used in forestry industry and in utilities industry.
The new Belarusian agricultural machinery products met a strong interest among visitors of the fair.More about Economy
