NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 19 April (BelTA) - Many countries show interest in the Belarusian integrated service and payment system ERIP, Chairman of the Board of the National Bank Pavel Kallaur said as he spoke at a joint sitting of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus on 19 April, BelTA has learned.
"As of 1 January of this year, there were 46 organizations on the register of payment service providers, including the Non-Bank Credit and Financial Organization ERIP. Over the years the country has put together a unique system to provide non-cash services to the population. I am sure that you are all users of this system," Pavel Kallaur said.
According to him, people from many countries come to Belarus to learn from this experience. "I would like to take this opportunity and thank all those people who are mostly retired now, who were engaged in the development of this system literally over decades," the chairman of the board said.
