MINSK, 2 March (BelTA) – The unemployment rate in Belarus is continuing to steadily decline, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Economy Ministry.
Last year, the unemployment rate in Belarus, according to the methodology of the International Labor Organization, fell to 3.6% of the total workforce. For comparison, this figure was 3.9% in 2021, and 4% in 2020.
Stable performance of the economy and controlled situation in the labor market contributed to such results, the ministry stressed.
