Israeli experts in standardization to visit Belarus on 14-15 January

MINSK, 11 January (BelTA) – A delegation of the Standardization Administration at the Economy Ministry of Israel will visit the State Committee for Standardization of Belarus on 14-15 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the State Committee for Standardization.

A thematic workshop on the Israeli standardization system will be organized for Belarusian specialists on 14 January. The Israeli colleagues will speak on such topics as development of standards, the work of the technical committees on standardization, conformity assessment, international activities. On the same day the Israeli specialists will get familiar with the activities of the institutes of Belgiss and Belguim.

The next day, 15 January, the State Committee for Standardization will host the third meeting of the working group on standardization, metrology and conformity assessment. The parties will exchange information on the ongoing work in these areas, share experiences, discuss relevant aspects for further cooperation, including the organization of a number of joint projects for business representatives.

The visit is on the plan of action to implement the agreements reached in Jerusalem on 22 May 2018 during the sixth session of the Belarusian-Israeli committee for trade and economic cooperation.
