MINSK, 26 December (BelTA) – Contributions of Belarusian insurance companies under direct insurance contracts and co-insurance contracts amounted to Br2,585 million in January-November 2025. The growth rate of insurance contributions stood at 109.3% compared to the same period in 2024, the Belarusian Finance Ministry told BelTA.
For voluntary types of insurance (including imputed insurance), insurance premiums amounted to Br1,718.9 million in January-November 2025, up Br132.9 million compared to the same period in 2024.
Insurance premiums for compulsory types of insurance amounted to Br866.1 million in January-November 2025, up Br88.1 million from the same period in 2024.
The share of voluntary types of insurance (including imputed insurance) in the total amount of insurance premiums amounted to 66.5% (67.1% in January-November 2024).
In January-November 2025 insurance compensation payments and insurance coverage payments across the republic totaled Br1,481.9 million, up Br158.6 million from the same period in 2024. The level of insurance payments as a percentage of total insurance premiums amounted to 57.3% in January-November 2025 (56% in January-November 2024).
