MINSK, 11 March (BelTA) – the index of consumer prices for goods and services totaled 101.3% in February 2019 as against January 2019 and 102.2% as against December 2018, BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee of Belarus.
In February 2019 the base index of consumer prices, which does not account for changes in prices for individual goods and services susceptible to administrative and seasonal factors, stood at 100.4% over January 2019, 101.1% as against December 2018.
In February 2019 food prices went up by 1.1% from January 2019, by 2.5% as against December 2018. Non-food prices edged up by 0.2% from January 2019 and 1% from December 2018. The index of prices for and tariffs on paid services totaled 103.2% in February 2019 as against January 2019 and 103.5% as against December 2018.
