MINSK, 12 August (BelTA) - In July 2019 the index of consumer prices for goods and services totaled 100.2% as against June 2019 and 103.1% as against December 2018, BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee of Belarus.
In July 2019 the base index of consumer prices, which does not account for changes in prices for individual goods and services susceptible to administrative and seasonal factors, stood at 100.2% over June 2019 and 102.3% in comparison with December 2018.
In July 2019 food prices inched up by 0.1% from June 2019, and by 2.9% over December 2018. Non-food prices wend down by 0.1% from June 2019, and rose by 2.2% when compared with December 2018. The index of consumer prices for services edged up by 0.7% over June 2019 and totaled 104.8% as against December 2018.
